The Regional History Library has a new Zazzle site!

The Community Library’s fine Regional History Department has just opened a new site on Zazzle featuring vintage photographs that jazz up shirts, mugs, computer sleeves, phone cases and more!  Our Zazzle Store includes select color images from the Union Pacific Collection from the years 1954 to 1958. You may order high quality prints or unique gift items displaying images documenting this unique time in history.

All proceeds from the sales on this site go directly to supporting the Community Library’s free services.  Remember, all library cards are free, to visitors as well as residents!

Our Regional History Department contains a spectacular resource of thousands of historical photographs made by local photographers dating back to the late 1880’s. The photography collection also includes 2,500 color images from the post – WWII Sun Valley, Ketchum, and Wood River Valley area of Idaho, including images made by Union Pacific Railroad photographers when UPR owned the Sun Valley Resort – the nation’s first destination ski resort.
The images document the life and times of the our area; people engaged in sports and leisure activities of all types, the fashions of the day, and most especially the pristine beauty of the mountain life-style in the Wood River Valley, Sawtooth Valley, and the surrounding areas.

Visit the Zazzle site to find a bit of Sun Valley history to carry around with you.  Or consider gifts for the upcoming holiday seasons–and support the Library!
